Kids Tomato and vegetable sauce.

Ingredients:

1 red pepper

1 carrot

1 red onion

1 celery stalk

1 garlic clove

1 courgette

1 leek

1 jar tomato passata

Beef stock cube

Olive oil

 

Method:

· Roughly chop all the vegetables and blitz in a food processor to make them as fine as possible.

· Place a saucepan on a medium heat add in a splash of olive oil.

· Put your vegetables into the saucepan and sweat your vegetables

over a gentle heat for three to five minutes until they begin to soften.

· Once your vegetables have softened add the passata along with the

stock cube and bring the liquid to the boil.

· Once it comes to the boil reduced to a simmer for five to six minutes until the vegetables are completely cooked through.

· Finally blitz the sauce in the food processor and store in a kinder jar or container.

 

Cauliflower and vegetable sauce.

Ingredients:

1 onion

1 leek

1 celery

1 courgette

1 garlic

1 head cauliflower

1 chicken stock cube

Olive oil

 

Method:

· Roughly chop all the vegetables and blitz in a food processor to make them as fine as possible.

· Place a saucepan on a medium heat add in a splash of olive oil.

· Put your vegetables into the saucepan and sweat your vegetables over a gentle heat for three to five minutes until they begin to soften.

· Once your vegetables have softened add enough water to cover the vegetables along with the stock cube and bring the liquid to the boil.

· Once it comes to the boil reduced to a simmer for five to six minutes until the vegetables are completely cooked through.

· Finally blitz the sauce in the food processor and store in a kinder jar or container.
